Is there any rule for changing PF amount in every six month or one year Thanks
From India, Jamshedpur
If you mean PF contributions, there is no rule that it should increase periodically.
From India, Mumbai
We doesnot mean that the increase in % of Pf , I mean to say that if every six month or one year i.e. annually or half yearly , if there is increase in basic salary then its automaticaly increase in PF contribution amount , not in % , it is fixed as 12%
i mean to say that is State Govt or any Govt. increases the minimum wages , which is normally increase in every six month, then that means its automatically increases in PF contribution not PF %age.
So, why PF contribution amount ( Not PF %age) not increase in every six month or annually.
Thanks

Mr S K PATHAK, Please note that as & when there is increase in Wages i.e Basic+DA+=VDA, Employee share of EPF Contribution is payable @12%. Presently Wage ceiling is Rs15,000/-PM Please note EPF Act is Social Security legislation enacted by the Central Government.Wage ceiling is periodically increased by EPFO.
From India, New Delhi
EPFO has proposed for increase in Wages ceiling Limit for EPF , and it propose to Rs. 25000

PF is deducted @12% pm on basic & DA. If these wages increase the contribution will increase too.

One more thing, if i can ask , : If a Unskilled Worker working for more than a 5 yrs , then obviously he gets some skilled , and if he demanded for skilled wages rate as per norms, then what he has to do if the Employer is continuously paying him unskilled wage rate., Similarly for Skilled worker , if he demanded for High skilled after getting some Experience , why he will not getting High skilled rate,
A Rule must have to be made that if a unskilled worker , working for some of the yrs and getting some Experience than he must gets skilled wage rate, Who will watch this EPF Dept or Labour Dept,. Please suggest
