As per recent supreme Court decision,. EP is calculated @ 8.33% of pay and DA from 1995 till the date of superannuation. Is it applicable to all the retired employees of organised sectors who have retired prior to this decision, by paying back the said percent of pay and DA with applicable interest accrued from time to time?

Dear Mr Suresh Sir,
Please let me know were you Covered under EPF & EPS.What was your EPF/EPS Salary? When did you Retire? are you already drawing EPS Monthly pension? please note Employee share of EPF Contribution is 12% on Basic+DA+VDA which goes to EPF Account & earns interest as per applicable Rates.Employer share of PF @12%
Out of this 8.33% goes to EPS & 3.67% goes to EPF Account.
