Hi all, Can any one suggest how to go with a leave policy to an IT/ITES establishment having pan India presence. Especially with regard to Paid / Earn Leaves, Carry forward and encashment of earn leaves.

Since IT/ITES Establishments are covered by the States' Shops & Establishments Acts, better make a comparitive study of the leave provisions of these Acts and take the maximum beneficial provisions as the uniform parameter of norms for your establishment as a whole irrespective of its geographical location. There is no provision for encahment of EL during the course of service. However, provision for periodical encashment can not be illegal.
