My previous employer is not paying my full and final on the pretext that they haven't received the funds from the client I was working at the time, I had served the full notice period as per the LWD mentioned in the resignation acceptance mail, and they also committed FnF payment at the end of 2 months after the said LWD.
Now it's 1 month more than that, I had sent an email citing the current financial issues I am facing (I have to take loan to cover my living expenses in the interim) and all they are saying is we cannot release payment until the client pays.
Request your kind advice here as to what legal remedies I have regarding this situation.
Also will there be any repercussions for me in the future, like negative feedback from the company in the future if I take legal action and also do I have any remedy for this as well.

Wages are your right follow this :-
1) Under Shops and Establishment Act employer has committed a default. Contact Your city Labour Department. They will take care of it.
2) Under Payment of wages Act they have committed a wrong. Again contact your labor department.
Write an application and submit to them.

My Final settlement amount is very less. I worked 20 days of my notice period but they paid only 7 days. They said your resignation request raised on 18 Aug and your LWD is 25 Aug so only 7 days salary will be payable. But i sent mail to my manager on 5 th Aug and he accepted on the same day itself. It is his fault as he raised request only on 18 th Aug. Unfortunately he is not working in that company right now. So can be done. Please help me in this regards. I dont have a copy of my resignation mail.
