I was told on the phone by the HR that he is sending me offer letter. I was asked my correspondence address. Next day, I was asked my permanent address as well.
However, I have still not received written offer. It has been 4 days since I was told that HR is sending me offer letter.
Do they carry out any background verification for permanent address because I thought offer letters are sent to current address only? I am not sure why did they ask permanent address?
