Dear All,
Please find attached a circular by EPFO dated 30.09.2016 on implementation of Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana (PMRPY) for your information and implementation.
Please also find attached guidelines of the Scheme.
According to this scheme, effective from 9th August 2016 onwards the employers who are registered with EPFO will be incentivise by paying by GOI 8.33% EPS contribution of employer in respect of new employees with new UAN. This benefit would be applicable in case new employee drawing salary i.e. basic + DA less than Rs. 15000 and there is an increase in employment in the establishment. The benefit under this scheme would be given up to three year.
Apparel Industry will be getting additional benefit of 3.67% - PF contribution of employer.

Sir, Thanks for sharing.My Query on this is -
1) What about contractors who are paying PF of contract employees of the Principal Employer.(Where in PF is Part of ctc paid by Principal Employer)
2) Is the scheme stands applicable to contractors.If Contractor has his own employees on roll as base strength)
3) What is the solution , where contractor and Principal employer relationship exists and Principal employer has outsourced his Payroll on Contractors epf code.
4)What about the Manpower providing companies who provides employment to new employees on contract but employees on contract are not sustained for 03 Years.
Also I feel that agencies who provide contracting services in respect of unskilled and semiskilled manpower may face a problem in getting the business as every employer would now demand that they would like to avail PMRPY benefit and consequently will put the burden of EPF of new employees on contractors.
