Hello Biswajit,
If your establishment delays in remitting the employees PF dues to the PFO, then the PFO will issue a notice (after the reconciliation which they generally do at the end of the year) specifying the same with the interest & penalty amount for the delay.
The penalty interest is hefty and takes care of the interest which it (PFO) has to pay to the members.
You should file a grievance online and also send an application with the grievance to your respective PF Office. These days, the PF Officials are quite vigilant and prompt. I am sure they will take necessary action.
Good Luck.
Regards, A.B.

EPF interest is credited in april every year for the previous year contributions ( salary of march 15 to feb 16 , epf return filed april to march 2016) you can check the same in form 23 .....a/c slip
if employer has remitted the payment delay, then he would get penalised from the department, employee has to get their paymement and interest without any trouble

PF Department will pay you the PF Interest. They will pay in the end of FY, every year. You can't claim it from the employer.
PF Dept will claim the interest and damages separately from the employer for entire non-payment amount including Employer contribution. That interest is totally different from PF interest paid to you by PF Dept.
