I was working with SBI Life Insurance company Ltd as an Operation Executive From 31st Dec 2012. And I had resigned from my position on 8th Oct 2015 with three months notice period ended on 6th Jan 2016.

It was a decision taken out of extreme frustration due to worst working conditions and undue exploitation being done by the senior management for accomplishment of the task by working on holidays and weekly offs for almost every now and then. As employees were leaving jobs and remaining ones have to finish up the work just to maintain the TAT as per IRDA. And it was a 12*7 working culture developing in the company.

No personal or social life was left and we had to work without good working condition like no air condition are working no clean toilets available to use. Threatening orders by the authorities to come on off days and finish up the work or leave the job as so many unemployed people are waiting for the job to do in your place.

The story is to long to explain in a single letter.

My concern here is that during my notice period I opted to withdraw my resignation as was not in a condition to afford without this job.

But the hr head and operations head said that can not retain me as my replacement is hired and they cannot increase the fixed head count in the company. So finally I had to leave on my last working day on 6th Jan 2016.

Also they said that it takes MD approval to rejoining of an employee that nobody gonna approach him for this.

I therefore request you to guide me if anything can be done to get back to the job again as i already had requested for the withdrawal of my resignation during my notice period only.

Hi Dinesh,
I am sorry to mention that in your case getting back the same job is a ruled out option. You should have thought well before resigning from the job. Also you have mention that you were not in a condition to loose you job, then why did you resign before getting a new offer?

Dear Dinesh,
There appears to be lacunae and contradiction in your post. For the time being let us keep aside the conditions under which you had given resignation.
Your post is dated 20th Sep 2016. In this period you have written about work conditions of your employment and what happened between 8th Oct 2015 and 6th Jan 2016.
You say that you had submitted your letter of resignation on 8th Oct 2015 and your notice period completed on 6th Jan 2016. Now already nine months passed after your separation. Why you did not get better opportunity during this period? Why you wanted to go back to the very employer whose working conditions frustrated your exploited you?
Please clarify further on the reasons of reemployment.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar

Well I am not jobless and working in an international BPO. But I want to tale some concrete action against the individuals who are running the company as per their need and comfort to please the higher authorities with minimum resources where extra number of employees required. And they kept on saying the we are over staff. Please be informed that due to their non co operation 7 employees had resigned and left the company before me and only four were hired against them.
What can be done in this scenario is my prime concern not getting back the job as m already working with a very good company. But my friends and colleagues are still working there ad suffering the same and can't offend to avoid remote location transfer or loss of job.
Kindly suggest.

Hello Dinesh, This is further to what Mahesh Nair & Dinesh Divekar mentioned/suggested.

Your Posting of 20 Sept mentions ".........guide me if anything can be done to get back to the job again......" & that of 22 Sept mentions ".....my prime concern not getting back the job as m already working with a very good company......".

What made you give misleading inputs to this Forum in the first place--within a gap of a few days?

Coming to your views of 'how' that Company is run or how many persons they wish to hire/fire, don't you think it's upto THAT Management to decide? One can't obviously run any Company according to OTHERS' views or plans. As long as they adhere to the laws of the land, I am not sure you have any locus-standi to take any action or point fingers on how things are run.

YES......HR issues could be there. But they too need to be resolved as per the Laws.

No one....REPEAT no one.....can force anyone to 'suffer' UNLESS he/she allows it to happen.

If your friends don't like the Company, they can surely seek better jobs & leave.

Suggest stop focusing on what that Company ought to be doing & instead advise your friends to focus on what THEY ought to be doing & where do they wish their careers to go.
