Respectable Seniors,

Hope you all are fine.

Being head of HR I have a query to ask. My CEO asked me to leave the job giving one month notice as he can not go together with me. He would sign the letter. And as HR professional, it is our responsibility to write letters for him. My query is, should I give resignation or write a letter of termination of employment contract for myself? OR Should I write a resignation mentioning that it is as per your instructions? so that my next employer, upon inquiry, get a positive response from this employer. As termination gives a negative response. As I also dont want to continue with him.

Further to this, will this affect my full n final settlement that ensures my gratuity of seven years and leave encashment etc.

I did my job with honesty and work hard throughout my tenure and enjoyed a very good reputation in this organization. There's no reason to terminate me but it is mainly on personal grudge and bring someone else to this position.

Please advise ensuring legal requirement.

Regards,

In this situation, it is always better to resign from the service mentioning personal reason and claim the statutory entitlements in time lying with the Employer.
No need to further intense involvement. Serve notice period and leave.
