Dear Sir, I am 60 years old and my retirement date is 1-11-2016, and this is my 15th year of service a private Company. My company stopped deduction under EPS in my 58th year and would like to know what is my status today with regard to my EPS deductions.

Dear Mr Jayaram P,
You have raised a query that bothers most of the senior people.
Please track your deduction with the same authority who is in charge of PF.
EPS is also handled by the same office but in a different section.
EPS ( formerly FPS) deduction is done up to 58 years only.
You have to track fast as it takes a long time.
Sometimes they will ask your deduction for the last 30 years and it should not come as a rude surprise to you. If previous details like EPS number and all are not available start working immediately.

Dear Mr. Jairam P
Your company has stopped the EPS deduction at the age 58 is correct.
You should have filled form 10D immediately after completing age 58.
Still you fill form 10D and start getting Pension.
Thanks,

At the age of 58, the employees Provident Fund Organization will stop deducting contribution under Pension Scheme but the full amount will be diverted to PF account only.

Dear Jairam ,
Hope you are reading all the posts.
It is surprising that after raising the query you have not acknowledged or responded to any of the replies so far.
As I informed you above even though the deduction goes to PF office they treat it as a separate account.
The pension is handled in an exclusive section located inside the PF office.
It took nearly three years for me to follow up and get the monthly pension started.
So please begin in right earnest and give us a feedback.
