Inform the concerned department regarding deduction of PT and non remittance to Sales tax department with full details of company.
Remember the company will act tough if they come to know of your complaint.

You can make a call to the call center of the municipal corporation and inform them about this thing. They will make the employer to pay with damages and interest. So no need to worry. They cannot escape from not paying it even after a year. The delay will be a headache for employer only. Not to employees.
I dont think Professional Tax (PT) will come under sales tax officials purview.

hey guys.. I do not know how you people are answering a topic without knowing the meaning of the subjected word?
please check it in Wikipedia on professional tax.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional_Tax
commercial tax departments will look after taxes levied on sale of goods.. whereas income tax officials on income earned by individual and corporates or any businesses through different sources, excise dept will be on service tax, excise duty on manufacturing goods etc, customs..
but professional tax is being levied by corporations or town panchayats.
