I have recently joined(May 25th) a Manufacturing unit as HR Executive I'm a fresher to this field. Now my management has instructed me to add my self in PF account and generate a UAN number for my self I have added successfully myself to the PF account as per the e return software. Now my question is how to generate an UAN number for myself from the employer side. I'm finding it difficult to get a UAN Number kindly guide me in this regard(When im trying to generate it is showing as not registered in the employees master). And the other major challenge is I was instructed by my management to implement bonus and gratuity in the organization I'm totally unaware of this subject unfortunately there are no one to guide me on this issue in my organization. The total strength of the organization is 25. Kindly guide me on the above issues.

Dear Saddisrikanth,
UAN will be allotted by EPFO, you can check your UAN number in UAN list by login to OTCP portal.
regarding Bonus and Gratuity, Firstly I advise you to pls read the Act and updations. after that come to calculations and prepare the list of employee with their DOJ and Service period till today, so that you'll be able to show your management the liability till today and after that every month you can save Provision for Gratuity.

Sir but im unable to find my UAN number in the data base I have added my self to the pf ac on 28th May only. Is there any time limit to reflect my name in the data base. Till date I have not contributed to EPF a.c. Is that might be the reason for not reflecting my name in the database. It is showing as UAN IS NOT AVAILABLE IN DATA BASE. Kindly help me.

After log in to https://employerclaims.epfoservices.in/index.php, go to UAN/ Confirm Previous Employement then search your PF No and fill up all required field then provide the previous employment details then select.Then approve the employment with dsc.It will be available in 48 hours.
