Dear Senior
I have resigned from my company. They have recently given bonus to all other employees who have resigned during the same period as me but I have not received any such amount as I have closed my salary account.
So what should I do now to claim the bonus.
Thank you!
Noopur

You can claim from the company more so it is statutory bonus and the same has been paid to others who resigned notwithstanding the fca that you have closed the salary account as the company's liabilities under law will not extinguish on closure of salary account.

Dear Noopur,
Did you speak to someone from HR department about payment of bonus? Is it performance bonus or statutory bonus that is paid under the provisions of Payment of Bonus Act, 1965? Former is paid according to the internal company policy and latter is paid depending on the eligibility of the employee. Therefore, find out what type of bonus is paid and whether you were eligible to get it.
Thanks,

Dear Noopur,
If the unpaid bonus is payable under a settlement or award, you can make a claim u/s 21 of the the PB Act,1965. Otherwise you can raise a bonus dispute u/s 22 of the Act to the area conciliation officer.

Have you actually got in touch with the company and told them the problem ? What has been their response. Or are you just crying without even speaking to the company

Did you contact the company for your dues??
You have closed salary a/c and company even if they wish cannot NEFT the payments.
Kindly cross check with your old company first and then see whether they are going to pay you or not.

Dear nupoor
You are in a public forum, asking for help.
It's not a paid service, everyone here is volunteering their time and knowledge for common benefit.
You need an answer, then you must give all details. Your original post should have put all details, including that you have contacted the Comoany, only by email and have not given a call or visited the office, how much time has passed since you sent the mail, whom you have sent it to, whether they have acknowledged your mail (what reply if Any), and whether there is a problem in actually visiting the office to ask them for your payment.
If you don't give these information, then basically you are asking the members to shoot in the dark, and wasting time of many people. And in some cases, you will suffer because you will get a wrong suggestion based on incomplete information

I am new to this forum so I am still in the learning phase. And thank you Saswatabanerjee sir for taking your time to answer. I really appreciate your criticism. All the answers have helped me a lot.
