Dear Deenadayalan,
If you have worked in well reputed construction industry as a Senior Engineer EHS & Compliance then why not to encash on that experience and handle the higher level assignments? Our Prime Minister has given big thrust for the development of the rural infrastructure. This only goes on to show that there will be huge demand for the construction industry in future. Therefore, you have great career opportunities lying ahead. Whether avail of those or get into the safe havens of academics that call you have to take prudently. Please do the merit and demerit analysis for each option.
As a word of caution, I recommend you improving your English. Whether you work as a professional or as academician, command over English is prerequisite. Your 76-word post has grammatical mistakes which hardly is consistent with post-engineering graduate. It is high time to improve your English lest this basic factor may hold your growth in future.
