I am Pravin working as a HR Officer,
I want to know that if someone want to deduct more then 12 % in his PF account is it possible ?
and If it is possible then what is the limit of deduction??

Yes it is called Voluntary Provident fund individualcan go beyond 12% of their basic salary & dearness allowance that flows into Employee Provident Fund(EPF) account every month and can contribute up to 100% of the above component every month into the same Employee Provident Fund(EPF) account,there will be no separate account for Voluntary Provident Fund(VPF). Any transfer or withdrawal of Employee Provident Fund(EPF) account will automatically result in transfer or withdrawal of Voluntary Provident Fund(VPF) account too.
Employer will have to just pay 12% only

Shivianjay One point you need to remember. Payment of wages act restricts total deduction to 50% of gross wages (total of all decisions, not just pf) That also needs to be monitored and adhered to
