I have worked for a compnay for 6 months and 27 days In Delhi. Though the compnay is based in Delhi, The PF is deposited in Maharshtra. I have left the job and submitted my PF withdrwal form which got deposited on September 25, 2007 after regular follwups.
My problem is that since I am based in Delhi, The Delhi office poeple after deposting the form are not helping me to follow up for my PF withdrawal. the local agent in Mumbai is not contactable. I need these funds very uregntly latest by November end or december beginning as I am in need due to family exigency. Also I donot have anyone in Mumbai who can locally help me to find the status of my PF account. I have been told that withdrawaing PF from Maharshtra is a very tedious job and regular follwup needs to be done. Pls help me as the sum is large and i need it very urgently due to family exigency.

Hi,
Have u submited PF form personally to Delhi office OR by your company executive ? if yes the Delhi office is responsible for settelment of yur claim.
I like to suggest u few things
1. If u r having receipt of submission of form then u can meet to the higher authority at Delhi office for the inquiry of the same.
2. Also check what are the documents which are submited along with yur withdrawal form.
3.Usually it will take around 40 dyas (without holidays) but i think yur claim will be setteled by the end of november if u do followup through proper chanel.
regards,

The PF has been deposited in mharashtra not delhi and the compnay has a laid back attitude as far as the follw up is concerned.
