Hello Everyone,
I was actually googling around for help and found this website. Not sure if this is the right place. Hope it helps me :)
I want to be as short as possible.
So to start my question is " Is Termination Letter needed for an employee for future career"?
I regret for my mistake and need some advice. I left a MNC company without relieving/experience letter and started working for a new company. Everything was ok till I started applying for new jobs again. They ask for previous exp letter or testimonials which I do not have for this specific MNC. In btw i keep communicating with them for it and they told me they will provide "Termination Letter on grounds of Job Abondonment." and that too after paying for my 2months notice period.
Unable to make a decision is it worth paying my 2months salary and getting this letter. Will it be helpful in anyway or have a negative impact for my new employer :(
Waiting to get some light on it. Thanks for your time.

I would say that it is not worth paying for getting that letter. See, if you can get an experience letter instead of the termination letter.
If that does not work, I hope you would have the appointment letter from that company. You can show that to the next employer. Show them the salary slips also.

Dear Serin Abraham,

No recruiter prefers to readily rely on the statement of any candidate, being altogether stranger for the organisation, about his/her past career/ experience and the reason of abandonment of previous spells of service unless supported by some relevant document issued by the past employers. Either official relieving letter or termination letter is quite necessary for the new recruiter to satisfy himself about the credentials of a new and stranger candidates for job.

But, still for the purpose of getting assured about genuineness of the documents about past services, the new employer prefers to make background verification, as some candidates try to be smart by submission of fake documents about their past services. So, if such documents are issued by any past employer, they can easily locate and certify about the past service of the candidate, otherwise, neither the candidate nor the new employer can get assured about response of the past employer so easily, when the document is found absent in their official record. Rather a negative response can be expected from the past employer in the absence of relieving letter or termination letter to cause a definite negative impact on the new employer about the candidate.

More so, if you have left service in any previous organisation without fulfilling the notice period condition, naturally, the new company would surely doubt on your credentials and good conduct. So, at least the payment of cost of notice period pay can guarantee earning of trust of the new employer in you.

So, now it is up to you to apply your mind in thinking, whether that can help you or not in any way..

TERMINATION LETTER? Dear Termination having such a harsh and last resort to correct any employee...like hang someone.
If you show anywhere in the world Termination letter it will surely give negative vibes which is against you.
And this blunder you did in the past will chase you till the end of your career...there is no other option but to remove this company from your CV.
Since it is clear that HR of that company is not at all happy with you, and always give negative feedback against you.
