Hi friends, I am an MBA, graduate.
After completion of MBA, I attended a lot of interviews but all went into vain.
Later on joined in a reputed school as a pre-primary teacher and worked for 2years.
unexpectedly, I was married and left the job without giving any prior notice.AS, it was my mistake they didn’t accept my resignation and they don’t want to give me my experience certificate.
My husband settled in Australia, so once I receive my visa I either go there.
As per my husband’s advice I decided to improve my English more and anyone could you please help me how can I practise my English as iI don’t have anyone who can speak to me in English at my home. How can I participate in the discussion to improve my language?
And the other thing is that if I go there how can I find a job there or is it better to join in any course that will help me in future job life.Even I’m an MBA graduate I don’t find much skill in me as I am very comfortable with that teaching job.
I have only 6months time to practise my language.
Hope I can get replies to my queries.
If anyone find mistakes in the information which I have given here i.e., either spelling or grammatical mistakes, please let me know....

Learned members have posted many articles on "how to improve communication in English" in this forum.

Learning and improving yourself in any language is a matter of practise and effort.
Simple tips:
Read English news papers
Buy magazines like Femina,Health etc
Hear English news everyday.
Speak in English to your friends.
Look up word meaning from a dictionary and add to your vocabulary.
You have only about 6 months time before you go to Australia,so join some short term computer courses and pick up better skills on computers.
You can even join up some English conversational classes in your home town.
If you have the will, there is always a way.
Best of luck

Hello Vidhyadhari,
Sundaram & Nathrao have already given you very valid & useful suggestions to improve your English.
Coming to your primary query "Whether To Join In A Course Or To Search A Job", suggest focus JUST on English--you have only ~6 months & joining a job knowing you would be leaving soon is NOT fair to the Company.
And as far as finding a job in Australia, your husband would be a better guide for this. As far as I know about the Australian jobs scenario, theoretical knowledge doesn't really help. Suggest time your job-hunting efforts for Australian jobs a month or so BEFORE you embark. Since your experience has been in School teaching, checkout any Certifications or short-term Diplomas that you could do here & that could be helpful to you there.
All the Best.
Rgds,
