I'm Prasanna working as a HR-Executive in a IT Company.i'm new to the online PF Portal.Anyone please let me know what is the procedure for transferring Employee Old PF to New account.As an Employer how can i transfer employee Old company PF to our company New Account.

For transferring old provident fund accumulations, now EPFO has introduced online procedure in which a member can apply for online transfer of his pf accumulations to the new PF account number through Member Portal of EPFO at http://memberclaims.epfoservices.in/...t_transfer.php. On submission of the application through member portal, the employer will receive a sms as well as email to this regard and the system will direct the concern employer to approve the same. On approval of the employer, the EPFO will execute the final process of transferring pf accumulations.

I will share the information with my employees Regarding this.
One more doubt regarding this is,Few people told me that the employee has to fill form-13 for PF transfer and the employer will submit those form in PF office because the Online PF transfer is not completely done.Is it true?

Yes, it’s true same is we will do that.if u try both the way then u go for it. but, better go for fill form-13 is easy for submission.

My previous account had become inoperative.
Now I have joined a new company and also got my UAN activated.
After that, I have applied for transfer from inoperative PF account to my current account.
I applied it online and the previous employer approved it immediately.
Also, I have sent the signed copy of Form-13 to previous employer.
After this, how many days will it take for the transfer to get completed?
What are the different status messages that I should see in the CLAIM Status?
