Dear all,
I am working with a small IT company as an HR Executive, Recently there has been some amendments that were asked by my director
to do in the salary slips of employee. Everything has been done as he said but CTC is not mentioned in the salary slip, he said not to
put CTC in the salary slip instead just mention the take home salary of employees.
Can you please tell me that is it not necessary to put CTC in the salary slip?

Salary Slip contains the Gross Salary Earned during the month and the Deductions of the month with Net Pay. CTC are mentioned only on the Appointment Letter and or Salary Revision Letters

CTC is not put in salary slip . Salary slip is to show monthly payment details. For CTC you need to prepare separate salary structure. In addition to what Saji has suggested , you can add PF , ESIC no , bank acc no, no of days present , leave balance , designation , dept etc on payslip.
