Dear Awdhesh,
Industrial Relations (IR) is a concept of bygone era. Now it is replaced with Employee Relations (ER). Nevertheless, IR or ER is a result of culture of your organisation. Therefore, concentrate on the organisation's cultural. However, it depends on your level in your organisation as well. What is your level? What support from top management do you enjoy?
Anyway, you may call me on my mobile. If you wish, we may discuss it further.
Thanks,

Hi, You have mentioned Absenteeism and OT issues. Please examine and collate details as why unproductive practices are prevailing in your company and define root causes. OT is mainly due to unplanned and un - authorised leave, accident, relievers absence or break down. You may have one or more reasons .very peculiar like this. There are some cultural genesis and almost controllable with sharing of data in advance in concert with HODs. Simultaneosly, ensuring improvements through regular coaching , communications in the habits and team work and also taking disciplinary actions too against habitual(s). There may be nexus between one or many workmen where loss of wages can be getting more remunerative by earning OT. We have had faced similar things happened at our organizations in past but we brought it to Z-E-R-O overtime, zero accident, min. break down.
Please call me on my mobile. If you wish, we may discuss to plug in the issues to resolve matter for great extent..

Thanks and good luck!!!,
