First please note that I am not Management Student.
But I have good experience in Accounting - Administration specially in Educational Institute.
To work on the project of Transport to Staff you will have to work on the following points.
1. Generation of Data - i.e. Addresses.
2. Fix the Route of Vehicle depending upon the Passengers
3. You will have to decide Number of Vehicles - Depending upon the Route and Passenger Number.
4. Work out the Expenses.
5. Work out the Income / if you are charging the Staff.
6. Depending upon your company policy - Decide the Flit policy i.e. own or hired.
This could be rough skeleton of your project.
I am sure that from our community you will get plenty of suggestions.

Earlier I had conducted training on Contract Management. In this training, I had provided exhaustive checklist on how to measure the performance of the transporter. The Excel Worksheet has total 30 points which includes formula to get calculated figures. You need to insert the monthly figures to get the output. The 30 point checklist has been developed after the deep study of the transport department. The study was based on transport cost, fuel cost, complaints by users and few other financial parameters.

You can enter the employee details, create primary level route maps.
