Dear Seniors,
in my previous company the corporate office used to do the salary break up and all. here in my new company i have to take care these things, so please explain about salary breakups.
> Is there any standard percentage?
> will it differ from state to state?
> Minimum wages and labour act restricting it in any way?
> what are the break ups should be there? (Basic and DA is enough, or HRA like further also must be there?)
Please make me clear about it...

Mr.Kishor,
Since, thanks for your response, then I have some doubts with your attachment file.
> Employee A is salary Rs.17000, ESI deduction has been done to him....?
> PF deduction may exceed Rs.15000?
> These break up percentages are standard or will it differ at any case?
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Anbarasu,
as per salary statement , Break up percentage similar and covered with Minimum Wages of State & Central ,but in Esic cant deduct on Washing allowances, for Esic coverage on Gross amount .

From India, Thana
Dear Kishor,
For Esic Deduction should be deducted from gross salary, u say washing allow. is not under the deduction matter but now the total salary for deduction of ESIC is (i.e; basic +D.A (11900)+HRA (1785)+conveyance (2040) = 15725) its ok n therefore u have deducted the 1.75% of it. but kindly tell me should the deduction be deducted above 15000 or not.
As per my concern of knowledge the ESIC deduction is for amount upto 15000.
Thanks & regards,
