Hi,

I Joined Company 'A' Around 5 Months Back And I Am On Bench Since The Day I Joined. After 2 Months Of Joining I Got Another Offer From A Good Software Company 'B'. But I Rejected The Offer (One Day Before Joining Date With Company 'B'), Thinking That I Will Get Good Work In My Present Company 'A'. But I Was Wrong. I Talked To Recruiter Of Company 'B' If He Can Reconsider Me For The Position, If It Is Still Available. But My Unluck, The Requirement Was Closed. After That I Got Another Offer From Company 'C', But I Am Little Bit Reluctant To Join That Company. But Anyway I Have Made Up My Mind, That I Will Join Company 'C'.
Can I Get The Relieving Letter From Company 'A',If I Resign 5 Days Before My Joining? Notice Period Is 2 Months (Iam Presently Employed With Company 'A').
Let's Say If I Continue My Job Search, Even After Joining Company 'C', Is It Important That I Should Have Relieving Letter From Company 'A'?
Should I Tell About Company 'A' To The Recruiter, If I Continue My Job Search?.
Will Company 'B' Accept My Candidature For The Future Openings With Them?

Pls Reply....

"Can I Get The Relieving Letter From Company 'A',If I Resign 5 Days Before My Joining" - This point makes no sense. Logically, one cannot get a relieving letter from the company if you resign(?) before joining(?)

Actually my point was Can I get relieving letter 5 days before joining the new company 'C' only for future reference, although my Company 'C' employer doesnt knows anything about Company 'A'.

Also why I am asking for short notice period is because of the reason that I am on Bench. Serving 2 months of notice period while on bench doesn’t makes any sense.

Dear,
You will get the relieving letter on the last day of working or after that. Logically no one will give you relieving letter but yes you can have your resignation acceptance from the current company.
Hope this is clear to you,

As per my knowledge, you have to work at least for 6 months in a company to get all the exit formalities, so also experience of 2 months is not considered in the industry, and adding an HR perspective - HR's might think that you are a Job hopper and can't stay committed to one company.

I am ready to stay with my current company 'A', but what's the use of staying if I am on bench... If the company expects a long term commitment from its employee, employee also expects the long term work commitment from the employer..

Thats incorrect. Exit formalities are exit formalities - not dependent on timeline. If an employee works a day and then quits, exit formalities apply.

Akshara, you will get the Releaving letter & experience letter & all documents once you complete the Notice period & leave the organisation...
