I have my EPS Scheme Certificate for 10 years, which I got about 6 years ago. I have completed 6 years in my current company. I approached my current employer requesting them for transfer of scheme certificate of 10 years, to my EPS (Employee Pension Scheme of PF) account with my current employer. My current employer has only taken a photo copy of my scheme certificate, returning the original to me. My current employer has told me that they would submit only the photo copy of the scheme certificate to the PF office, and they will transfer service to my current EPS account. I approached my current employer about a month ago, and I have not received any communication from PF office. There is no way I can check the status in my UAN number Account. Can some one guide me on this, as to how to get the service as per scheme certificate, transferred to my current EPS account. Thanks

Dear Nagnayak,
To add the previous service with the present service, either you have to transfer the previous service by applying in form 13 through your present employer or surrender the scheme certificate before the EPFO while claiming pension. For transferring EPS, there is no role for scheme certificate.
