Dear Sir,
I was an employee at Prompt Personnel Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd.,Mumbai. Few Days back I was suddenly asked to leave the job. As stated by management I left the job. Now When I am asking for my salary they are saying that I have not completed my exit formalities. Also As mentioned by management I have surrendered ID cards and visiting cards etc which I collected during my employment period. Nothing except this was given to me. Adding to this when I requested to the director to release my salary as I am facing financial crisis, he is saying, It is in HR's hand.
Please suggest me on this.

At the time of discharge, the employer ought to have paid your dues unless any loss has been caused by you. Pl refer to Bombay shops and establishment Act in this regard. Even under Payment of Wages Act, if your salary was less than Rs 18000/ pm you can approach the inspector under the Act.
Thanks
Sushil
