Hi, I just looking for your reply about training policy for Agriculture sector which engaged in producing and marketing of seed, pesticides and fertilizers

Dear Sharmahorti,

Agriculture or otherwise, the training policies do not change with the sectors. You have written that your company is engaged in production and marketing of seeds. But then what about distribution? Do you distribute on your own or you have outsourced it to some third party?

On a broad scale, you have three major costs i.e. production cost, distribution cost and marketing cost. Each of these costs will have further divisions. You need to study each cost and identify the sub-costs. Your training policy should aim at managing these costs. Otherwise exercise on creation on training policy will become vacuous.
