Dear Nitin,

Of the list of the responsibilities that you have mentioned, maintaining employee relations and motivation is important. Other responsibilities are generic in nature and this is the job of average HR Manager is.

The employee relations or motivation depend on organisation's culture. The culture should be performance centric culture. Therefore, your priority should be how to create this culture. Salary incentive should be based on performance. But then moulding organisation's culture is no easy task. It requires lot of support from top management. Therefore, do you have buy-in from the management? Giving responsibility to someone is easy but then they should listen also the suggestion from that person.

Call me on my mobile and we can discuss how we can proceed. Typing the whole thing could be little difficult.

Thanks,

I appreciate your keen interest in writing back to me. However, Sir I need to know the deductions and policies for following things in the payroll and excel sheet calculations:-
Basics, HRA, Conveyance- 1000 (fixed), PF, PT, & company contribution in PF a/c. What will be the components amount if the Annual CTC is 155088.
Please help me to find out the proper way of calculations, and also the way it has to be presented in Excel sheet.
