Dear Seniors,
Greetings to you all!
I am having around 17 years of work experience in different domains like admin, hr and secretarial. Presently working in a start-up Software and staffing company for past one year. Since this company's partners are relatives to my friend I agreed to join with a very low salary and timings will be 10-3.30pm. The Partners told me that they have a few projects in pipeline which they will get through. Its almost one year since my joining, When i joined there were 3 technical people all freshers, two staff resigned and again they recruited 2 technical staff. Now my question to the Seniors are whether should I continue with this company or not also sometimes I feel there is no value addition for me here.
Kindly suggest me.

Dear Vidya,
You are best judge for this situation. If you feel that your talent / expertise is not been utilized to the fullest or not being used at all, then there are 2 things you can do:-
1. Ask for more relevant work from the employers
2. Look for a job and resign from the company
Once the feeling of lethargy sets in, you will find it difficult to leave behind your comfort levels.

Hi,
1. when we will think practically, before to join this company you need to be aware for the future events.
2. you are running in reverse mode, 17 years experience you had so better to change the job before it will so late.
3. Before to join any company think what you may get from that company. ( knowledge and salary both are important).

Hi,
I was working in a MNC, since they relocated to a far off place, I had to resign from my job. In the meantime as I got the offer to manage the company, I thought I can give value addition with my experience and skills. But as they have not got any business even after a year, am confused about my next step.
Regards.
