Dear All, I had joined a reputed company 6 month back, now i got the confirmation letter in this month after complition of my probation peroid i.e. 6 month. Would like to know, am i be eligible for my increment of salary also, or it varies from company to company. I am working in an reputed organisation, performed excellent but only confirmation letter has been handed over, pls guide.

Company has to take a call on increment. 'Confirmation' has nothing to do with it. Every company has an appraisal cycle and only at the end of the cycle the salary revision takes place. Again, company is under no obligation to increase your salary after 1 year, whatever be your performance and rating
