Dear Mahesh,
If you have already informed to management & they have not taken any action against it or not made any changes in Bank records.
Then, you may inform to respective banks or whoever sending those email or communication with you that, you are no more working with this organization, therefore, you are not authorized or concern person to get this information or intimation, so, kindly update your records.

Before giving you any view let us know how come the bank details are forwarded into a personal email id of any employee which is very strange. For current account all details are send to official email id as mentioned by the authorized signatory and the official Cell No. If the authorized signatory are changed the Bank do update the same in their records.
Kindly clarify/give details about your query

one option is to categorise such mail as spam... they will get into spam folder. If it is from a bank’s website, you can unsubscribe.....

I echo Tushar and Saji, Please get this sorted . Here's why we insist .
Each time a bank opens a salary account the data gets stored. Now if you join another employer who might process your salary through the same bank, it might use the old data.
It happened with us when new employees with existing bank account had joined in . Citi bank used their old data and created a huge mess, while processing the salaries .
Please act on time and you will save a lot of troubles in the future.

Dear friends,

It's happening with many banks nowadays, it'll continue till the banks update their KYC data. It's also possible to send emails to the personal IDs of an account holder for the simple reason, the emails IDs are keyedin as was entered at the time of opening the pertinent a/c (as it was filled in by you in the a/c opening forms). However our friend may try to find the phone no.of the bank and call up and talk to that Accountant requesting them to correct their KYC data. Under the instructions of RBI all banks should send out circulars to all A/c.holders to resubmit their KYC forms and update banks' data base periodically. Failing which it is the duty of the bankers to personally call up them to furnish the KYC forms. If these are not followed, our friend may Otherwise send a written letter also. Despite these still if it continues the only option is to classify such mails as "spam" and be done with it. Thank God you didn't exercise SMS alerts option for this.

I think, the thread starter has not meant about salary account. Salary account will remain active whether he/she is serving in the company or not. If there is no continuous remittances in their account, the status of Salary account will be converted to ordinary SB account, in which case, the min. balance has to be maintained.
I think he is talking about the CA in which he was one of the authorised persons to act on behalf of company. The bank records to be updated. Till such time, he will be receiving the messages from bank. The company has to cancel his details in bank records. Individual is not responsible.
