Hi,
I worked in a company for 2.5 years. 4 months before along with me around 20 members are asked to resign the job. Now i joined in a new company. Now i want to claim my pf amount. However, when i check my pf balance it has only 5k or 7k. My company monthly deducted 780 rs from my salary. Based on my understanding the company isn't paid my PF money right?. When i asked them to sign my pf form they are not ready to sign it either. So what should i do now? How should i claim it, i don't know when they will put my Pf amount in my account. Do i have to wait for that period to claim it. This is the same thing for all the 20 employees their pf account are also not credited.

Dear Srini,
First, check whether showed PF account balance is updated or not..? most of the time, it is not updated.
Secondly, if it is update & still there is the dispute in balance & company also not ready to signed your documents, then, you go to Regional PF office & lounge the compliant against the same.
Dont worry no one can stop you to withdrawal the PF, it is non attachable property.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick replay. I even downloaded the E-passbook and checked it doesn't have anything. I asked my old company accountant he told me that the company didn't put the money because it has some financial problems. When the company asked us to leave us they didn't gave last 3 months salary also.

You have to claim PF through your employer.
You can send the claim forms through your employer. Your claim
will be settled.
If any employer is not paid, it is the duty of the PF Inspector to see that it will be deposited with interest.
