Hi Freinds,
I am Prithvi from Hyderabad. I got a job offer in a new company with joining date as May 23rd. The offer Letter was given to me on April 27th.
Now, I have a good relationship with my current employer, i work directly with the CEO of the company. The Notice perioid in my current company is 30 days. However, I stated that i have a personal reason to leave earlier. (I do have personal reason). The CEO very generously told me to write a resignation letter on April 30th and he will give me a relieving letter on May 1st as last working day. He is sad about my exit but respected my reason and offered me to get relieved in just one day. Since May 1st, i am no more working for current company.
Now when i show this relieving letter to my new employer on May 23rd, would it be a problem for them after seeing that i didnt work from past 23 days? Would it be a problem in future for my career to get relieved in just one day?

Hi,
Its good that your current employer understood you and releived you.As far as new company is concerned there wont be any issue because they must have give the TDOJ after discussion with you and they seems comfortable with it.Relieving within a day wont be an issue as you will have experience letter and positive response from CEO.
Secondly when your new company will ask about early relieving you can tell them that you had some personal concerns so you wanted to sort it out before joining new company because in initial months new employee cant avail this much leaves..etc etc..
Rest see what our seniors say about it !!!!
