Dear All,
I am new to the CiteHR, but am a regular reader of CiteHR discussion. Am in need of a clarity, kindly help me.
I am working with my current employer since past 1.7 years. But when I downloaded my PF E-Passbook, I found that my employer has deposited the PF Contribution only till aug-2013. In this case, am I eligible to get any interest or damage from my employer. Am assume that I am resigning from my company and getting relieved from the company next month, when I close my pf account, would I get my full PF amount till next month or will I get till only which month my employer has deposited.
Kindly help me to understand please.
Thanks

It is possible that your employer may have paid the pf amount but the pf department may not have updated the company's accounts for 13-14 & also not updated ur e-passbook. Kindly confirm payment position with pf department.
In any case you will get all your pf dues with interest.

Dear Bhavik Chheda,
Thanks a lot for your reply
I also checked with the finance team member during a general talk, he said that the company didnt deposit the PF amount for any employee since aug 2013.

Dear sure,
Please do not get cheer up with your findings that the "company didnt deposit the PF amount for any employee since aug 2013". It is a BIG offence for deducting the PF contribution from the employees' wages and not depositing the same with the PF authorites. The Act has laid down heavy penalities for the same under Secion 14 of the Act. You are advised to approach the PF Authoritiy and file a complaint immediately for the relief.
