Hey,

myself Swapna

i am looking for change currently

i have 3.6 years on experience in Technical recruitment.

i have taken interviews with 6 reputed companies till now and 3 rounds with all the companies

they really want me to join them but not ready to pay me at least 30% from my CTC, where current CTC is low..!!!!

i am with my second organization now, the same has happened when i changed to my current organization, that i did not even get 20% of hike, again the CTC with my first organization was very low though i was with 2.6 years experience by the time...from past 4 years i am going through the same situation..

i had a survey also on the same and resulted that the recruiters are being paid very less compared to the developers / other HRs / even other levels !!!

I feel without a recruiter no company can grow in terms of headcount and without growing headcount no company would be profited.. But still i wonder why recruiters are being paid less..

Do U Agree With Me !!

PLEASE COMMENT {{ I HAD NOT FOUND SOLUTION, IS THERE ANY WAY..... !!!! }}

Hi Ms. Swapna
Usually HR personnel are being paid less compared to other technical persons. there were multiple discussions regarding the same in this forum.but I may not agree recruiters are been paid less compared to other core HR personnel. But there may be bit gap between the or HR persons & recruiters.

Hi Swapna
It is not correct to form a notion that recruiters are paid less in comparisons. You need to relate your work with profitability of the company that you are working with.
If you are in mass hiring, your appraisal parameters will differ as compared to those who are head hunters. Hence, your focus area has to be on lines accordingly.
It is acceptable, if you are paid less (as per your expectations) during your initial learning phase.
Recruiters are expected to get the manpower in accordance to the organisational needs, it becomes imperative to supersede the experiences of the one that you are hiring, in some or the other ways. Once you gain an expertise on it, trust there should be no look back.
Recruitment domain will only pay back, once you get recognized as an individual brand, in whatever kind of recruitment that you are doing.

Dear Sir/Madame
As per the discussion I agree more over I want to add that HR is there to do all the odd job and also all the work done is a value added but still we are consider as cost centre and we are poorly paid.

Dear All,

Its really true that 1) HR Persons are paid less than comparison to other Management Persons/departments and its also true that 2) HR Recruiters are paid less than that of Core HR.

For 1st point i would like to say that Organizations want Employees to work free of cost i mean how many persons you are hiring in how much cost that does not make great matter, Company wants how much could you reduce the employees salary and how much you can make them to work hard. company does not think that we are getting profit from the manpower who is the 1st and foremost resource out of all. it only says that how much is the salary expenses, how much is the other expenses for staffs, it asks only how much is the expenses and expenses, it never asks how much we got profit from staffs.

My 2nd point is that why HR Recruiter is paid less, Because Recruitment companies are more but not so big. Big companies whether it may me recruitment industries or other industries can give big salary. and also its true that Recruitment Part is only the part of Core HR. that means Part HR is paid less than a Full HR. Finally i mean to say that salary depends upon the work responsibility.

But one thing you must realize is that HR is called the Employer where others are not. and 2ndly HR is the only one who enjoys more authority comparison to other managements.

Thanks
