Hi,
I had resigned from my position from a organisation on December 15, 2013. I am serving two months notice period as per the agreement between the company and me. When I had asked regarding salary during the notice period our HR Manager had replied saying "Your December month Salary will be processed on January 15, 2013 and salary for the month of January 2013 will be given in the F & F.
I need to know whether its right from the organisations side to hold my salary for so many days?

Dear Ajay,
The employer has no rights to hold ur salary while ur resignation. The can hold, when u got some advances, fines, damage or loss. Otherwise they are liable to pay the salary(for the 2 month notice period) before your leaving and they should issue relieving order also.
