Hi its been almost two months that i have joined a reputed organisation in Noida as an HR Executive. My query is i have two years of experience and i am well versed experience person in HR Recruitment and everything i can say better than all my other team members. If i talk about my reporting manager she is also so busy to assign me any work from past two weeks i am sitting idol they are not assigning any work to me. Moreover, they all have below average communication skills be it written or verbal even my reporting manager, she has pathetic English communication skills i am worried what should i do now. Please help badly need some expertise advice:(:(

Well, an honest answer would be, yes, you are over reacting and not just that, you need to work on your professional maturity otherwise it will cost you dear in career.

Many problems in the workplace can be easily solved with open and proper communication. You have spent 2 years in this company so obviously you did have work before. You need to see why you don't have work now and ask your manager to assign you work.

Also, a friendly advice, more as a senior to a junior - don't be so quick in dismissing other people's English communication. It is good to have a lot of confidence in yourself but it can be dangerous to ignore own shortcomings. I don't know if this how you usually write or it was because you were feeling agitated and wanted to get your thoughts off your head, but the message above has plenty of English errors and I wonder if your colleagues really have worse English communication skills.

Ok, enough of preaching :) Cheer up, go talk to your manager, ask her to give you work and build a reading habit or watch English news or do something to improve your English skills. Stop feeling as if they are trying to target you.
