Hello,
I am currently working with a MNC,and am under a service agreement to work with them for at least 1 year. But it was really a very bad experience to work with my current employer, training and work env. are really very bad, since November 'm not well and have not been able to attend the office, My agreement end in jan '14. Can I leave my job on medical grounds before the service agreements ends. Also the company is a Captive/BPO outsourcing unit. And as per the agreement if the void the terms and condition of the same I shall be liable to pay Rs 75000 to my employer. In need of a advise.
Thanks

Sure, you just need to submit a medical certificate signed from a registered medical practitioner indicating that your are not well enough to go office and perform your job.
So, do not wai any more and apply for medical leaves and focus on your health to recover asap.

Hi Couvery,
Thanks for the help. Just one more question that if I resign now, Will they give me a relieving letter, In case if they just accept my resignation will I free from from the agreement and I shall not be liable to pay any sum to the company? That is what my main concern is about right now.
Thanks
Karan
