Dear Seniors,
interviewer asked me a questions :-
1- if the celling limit of PF will increase from 6500/- to 15000/- what will be the effect of both Employees and Employer.
2- if in 1000 workers company any worker is absent from his duties how HR manager can take the action against them. how HR get know worker is absent from his duties.
please guide me over these Questions

From India
Presently the employers liability under EPF contributions is limited to only on the salary of Rs 6500 pm. If the ceiling is increased from Rs 6500 to Rs 15000, then the employee is required to be pay EPF contributions on Rs 15000. Therefore PF contributions of both the employee and employer would increase and employee would get more pension and provident fund benefits.
If in any company workers are more than 100 then model standing orders of respective state would be applicable. As unauthorized absenteeism is a misconduct, procedure prescribed under model standing orders is required to be followed for taking action against delinquent employee.
HR would know only about absenteeism from the attendance register or punching system or through information from supervisor.

The following will be the consequences for employee and the employer.
1)The employer has to pay more by way of P.F contribution and administrative charges which means extra cost to him.
2) The employee gets more P.F since the interest will be paid on higher amount.
3)The employee will get more pension;
4)The employee can draw more money as advance from his P.F a/c to meet financial needs educational expenses or buying house etc.
5) His CTC figure will go up.

Bhavesh,
If a worker is absent for duty will automatically come to HRD, since they are maintaining attendance moonitoring system. Also you have to get to know about this through your meeting with section supervisor on daily basis. Time office personnels are maintaining the in/out details of every workmen of the factory. the same is vetted by the HR Manager on day to day basis, especially for critical sections, he has to monitor the absenteeism details and arrange for the alternative.
This is the way to get to know the absenteeism details.

answer :
1. First all the employee and employers are not agree that know. so foremost to advise them, if you are spend more money to PF in the sense, you people only get the benefits end of your working life.so say like this.
2. To make use of access card, if any one absent present day the computer take the survey of that list. And after that any one absent for a day , better we will cut their one day allowancess because they are not working that present day know. so then only the other employees are aware of that situation.

Dear Friends,
It is our foolishness to think about the employer burden. New Employees will definitely be fixed and cheated with CTC fashion. And it is not mentioned in the news(gossips) that old employees should be graded to 15,000/- limit. If that is the case, what about Minimum Wages implementation?
