As I aware Professional Tax slabs for Andhra Pradesh is 15001-20000 150 & 20001 and Above 200.
Please give share your valuable suggestions how much amount we have to deduct from his salary..
1) If an employee salary is 25000 after all deductions he earned 20000. How much amount we have to deduct ?
2) If an employee salary is 12000 and he earned incentive of 8000 for that month. Net salary is 20000. For this we should deduct professional tax, shan\'t us?
What is the procedure to pay Professional Tax for Government.

Professional tax is always deducted on gross salary . So regarding the above said
case 1 - the professional tax should deduct Rs.200/- as his gross salary is Rs.25,000/-
and coming to case 2 , the gross salary is Rs.20,000/- so fall in the slab of 15001 to 20000 , should deduct Rs.150/-.
Have to fill FORM V , covering letter stating the details of payment and enclose the list of employees p.tax deduction for the month and submit to the
THE DEPUTY COMMERCIAL TAX OFFICER, to your area.
