It depends on the age and the salary of the injured employee at the time of death..If the salary is more than Rs8000/-pm it is deemed as 8000/ only.If it is less than 8000/- actual is reckoned.
The calculation is;
50% of salary X Factor assigned to the age of employee at the time of death or Rs one lakh which ever is more.
An employee aged 30 and with salary of Rs 10000/-. is died.he is eligible for compensation of Rs 831920/-
ie 50% X 8000 X 207.98
If his salary was Rs 7800/- he would have got Rs 811122/-
