" PF pension plan to my late bothers parents"
hi all
my brother who was holding an PF account died last month , he has put 7.5 years serivce in current office . I just wanted to know weather my parents are eligible to get PF pension ? if so what is the procedure ? He was unmarried at the time of death.

Please note, if any member dies without marriage, his / her parents are eligible for pension.
The following procedure needs to be followed:
Following 3 forms needs to be submitted:
Form 20
Form 5IF
Form 10D (separate form to be filled by each claimant)
The following documents needs to be attached:
Date of Birth Proof of all the claimants (Affidavit may not be accepted)
Cancelled Cheques / Photocopy of the Passbook for Bank account verification. (Separate bank account is required for each claimant in SBI or PNB bank only, if they don't have bank accounts in either of these banks, please open separate accounts)
3 joint photographs. (passport size)
3 separate photographs of each claimant (passport size)
Get all the above forms and documents attested by the employer of your deceased brother and file them with the PF office where his PF is deposited.
