I think it's clear writing on the wall.
He has not got salary for 2 months.
It does not look like he will get it either any time soon.
So stopping work there and looking for a new job makes eminent sense
At best you can file a complain with the concerned labour office.
Perhaps you will get your money

Hellow Mr.Mr. Mandolia, when
your friend is not getting the salary because of the financial problems means the co. is not having orders in hand or they are not able to realise their outstanding dues. Whatever
the case it may be, your
riend might have read the
situation, take \'No objection Certificate\' from the organisation where he is working and see the job in another company, so that
he can peacefully work. However, about leaving the company frankly your friend
can discusss with the HRD.
I think non-payment issue is not only to your friend
but to the others too. So,
individual complaint may not
be that much efffective.

Dear Mr. Mandolia

Is this situation pertains to your friend only or with all/many of other employees of MNC? And is their any communication by sr. Managers/hr persons regfarding this?

And what was the performance of MNC in past and also past track record of payment and financial conditions of the MNC. If these were good and their is possibility of improvement in near future please ask your friend to continue and plan his expences accordingly. Is it is employees moral duty to stand by his company in difficult period. Also this will pay in future in form of loyalty bonus and also a period which tea he's you a lot..

But if this is not the senerio then ask him to plan a move but again he have to face similar financial hardships at least cor the period he receives his 1st salary..

This also an alarm to all of us how live end to end life style and did not save for future. We must build an emergency fund which can meet our full expances for 3-4 months if we face such situation.. Also thus condition many time hinder our carrier growth we are unable to accept new job offer because we are not able to manage 2-3 expence when salary will be on hold in notice period and next company will be paying after one or more months of joining.
