Hi Drushya.s,
I would like you to take this assessment and see for yourself.
I did my course in Electrical Engg but later opted to become a trainer. Yes, I did some specialized courses in training and psychology but deep down I was sure of what I want to do. I was confident of my communication skills. Training is an art as well as science. You can certainly learn and hone your skills but only you can make this decision.
Yes, career as a trainer is definitely good... but I don't know your definition of good. To me training is something that I really love and enjoy doing. It is an expression of my personality and creativity.
Do something you are really passionate about. Search within yourself to see if would like to become a trainer. Attend a TTT program and see if you can conduct some training for someone you know. Check it out for yourself. Only you would be able to find the answers to the questions you have asked.
You may call me or write to me, in case you have any queries.
