I joined XYZ Company in Feb 2013 as a HR. It is a manufacturing company. Earlier a Technical Head was the MR of the company and was in charge of ISO Work. He resigned and now my manager wants me to do the ISO Work. I have no experience in ISO Work and a MR is one who is aware about the system in the organisation. I would like to know is it a right idea to make me MR? I have no problem becoming MR but as explained earlier I have never done ISO Audit so will it create problems for me?

Dear Friend,
ISO is not tough; it's basically about standardization; pls refer previous manuals, audits and reports issued by the certificate issue agency. If you cannot find in your office you may request for duplicates. Reading those reports or meeting the concerned person you may get the basic idea of ISO certification and principles.
