I want your guidance on the below topic.
I want to know that, if there is a contractor who is executing their contractual job at any site and for that they have deputed 3 employees at that site.
Suppose, the Principal Employer is covered under EPF & MP Act, 1952, then do the contractor will also need to register under EPF & MP Act, whereas the contractor has only 8-9 employees and the gross salary of all the employees is more than / equal to Rs. 15,000/-.
Plz. given your valuable guidance in this regard.

Imagine a situation if there are no contractors available what would you have done. I guess hiring everyone on your rolls. Similarly if your company is covered under EPF your contractor also needs to cover all his employees who are working under your company's roof. Non-compliance of those employees would be a default at your end.
Now, if they are drawing Basic Pay (Basic+DA) more than Rs. 6,500 p.m. EPF usually won't be compulsory but during inspection EPF officer insist in deducting PF therefore please get Form 11 filled.
