Is there any legal provisions to know / get the union membership particulars under Trade union Act.
I heard we can get it from DCL - Trade union registar. Is there any chance to get this particulars. if yes how we can get this ???

The membership details of all registered unions will be available with the concerned Registrar of Trade Unions in the State concerned. One can approach him and get a copy of the same. Normally the Deputy Commissioner of Labour or other such officer of the State Government hold the charge of Registrar of Trade Unions also.

Generally union get the contribution from the salaries of employee after direct deduction to have better legal and hold on union. management in turn give that cutting to union. all the employees who are union members give undertaking to management through union for deduction from salary and remittance to union account.
