My contract for being a visiting faculty for one subject for one semester in a management college was cancelled midway for no fault of mine by the principal. On my representation to the management a discussion was held and management member apologised and agreed to pay the rest of the money by assigning related duties and compensate it.But in action no such thing happened. I have sent many reminders but no reply. It is six months since this happened . How do I make them pay the remaining contract money

Whe the assignment is cancelled there is no way to get paid for it. However it is necessary to see the offer letter / terms and conditions to see whether this point is clarified. If by any chance there is a mention about cancellation and compensation for that you have the right to claim the amount.

I had accepted the contract fore going other assignments . How do I make up for the loss? and what is the penalty that can be sought for their wrong action, if there is no explicit mention about compensation?
