FOOT IN MOUTH SYNDROME.
Have you ever made a verbal blunder at work place and desperately regretted later ?
If your answer is “Yes” , then you are infected with what is known as “Foot in Mouth Disease FMD” Or “Foot in Mouth Syndrome (FMS).
This presentation deals with communication disorders in workplace where you tend to be over impulsive either in conversation or action and end up in a messy situation.
I attempted to classify the “Foot in Mouth” syndrome into four categories and in which category the majority of the working class stands. It also tells the dangerous zones when an employee loosens his tongue and the precautions he should take to stay clear of controversies.

Dear Sambasi, Wonderful, you have aptly brought out the essence of FMS. Usually people get carried away when they are in a spiteful mood or when they are exhilarated and are unable to contain themselves. They get a feeling that they can get away with anything and later had to repent for long. Many many compliments for your efforts.

Well said and worth focusing to avoid potential damage. since the speed of thougfht is much more than the speed of spoken words one has to have a break on delivery of words. This is a preventive disordser.

Hi Sambasi,
Really enjoyed your FIM presentation, we always talk about communication but rarely do we see a presentation that touches the
core of poor communication. I am sure that this will be very useful to some people who spend hours wondering where they went wrong and what to do about it.
