HI All,
I need help / Information regarding the travel agreement / Bond.
I was been asked to travel Overseas to work on a project and when the travel dates were fixed and all the arrangments are done, at the last moment (1 day before the travel) the company has asked to sign a bond and it states that employee(in this case me) is desirious to go through some training and company is spending XXX amount of money on to get the training for me and I have to stick to the company for 1 year or else i will have to pay the XXX amount to the company.
when i objected to sign a bond on the basis, then i was been forced(indirectly) on the basis of my employment to sign it.
Now I want to know is it legal for the company to make its employees to sign the bond if tough they are going overseas to support a project(Purely support, No training is Involved).
Can I get some information on which i can challange the management regarding the same..!!!
Please advise..!!!
